Es war ein schöner Tag und eine sehr gelungene Veranstaltung. Wir haben die Bestuhlung der Botschaft gesprengt, 85 Stühle stehen für Darbietungen zur Verfügung, sie reichten nicht!
Ich danke allen für das große Interesse an der Veranstaltung in der Irischen Botschaft, ich danke Antje für die schönen Fotos und Diarmuid, Mandy, Daniel und Peter für die gute Zusammenarbeit.
Noch bin ich aufgeregt, ich brauche immer etwas Zeit, um ein solches Ereignis zu verkraften.
Wir waren schon sehr früh in der Botschaft, um den Ablauf zu besprechen und Diarmuid brauchte auch Zeit, um sich auf der Querflöte einzuspielen. Seine Frau Mandy spricht ausschließlich englisch und irisch und natürlich wird auch in der Botschaft nur englisch gesprochen. Eine wahre Herausforderung! Ich habe festgestellt, dass ich inzwischen schon passabel Englisch schreiben kann aber mit dem Sprechen hapert es sehr. Mir fehlen einfach Wörter beim sprechen, die ich eigentlich weiß. Da hilft nur eins: üben – üben – üben.
Ich konnte natürlich wieder nicht widerstehen und neben meinem Rechner liegt ein ganzer Stapel Irland Prospekte und eine kleine Schachtel von Petra Vieweg mit einem Stein aus Irland vom Strand von Brittas Bay in der Nähe von Arklow, Co.Wicklow südlich von Dublin. Er soll mir den Weg zu den anderen Steinen zeigen, die in Irland darauf warten, dass ich mal vorbei komme *grins*
Auf der anderen Rechnerseite habe ich meine Belegexemplare vom Dämonen Buch zu liegen. Es ist in einer limitierten Auflage von 100 Stück erschienen. Hinten findet ihr die Nummer und die Signatur von Diarmuid und mir. Bücher mit einer zusätzlichen persönlichen Widmung erhaltet ihr bei mir (einfach eine Mail an info@susannehaun.de ), ansonsten könnt ihr die Dämonen auch direkt im curach bhán Verlag unter diesem Link bestellen. Den ersten 20 Exemplaren liegt eine Original Grafik von mir dabei, mehr davon hier auf der Verlag Seite.
It was a beautiful day and a very successful event. We have more guests as chairs of the embassy, 85 chairs for performances are available, they were not enough!

I’m still excited, I always need some time to cope with such an event.
We were very early in the Embassy to discuss the process and Diarmuid took some time to play on the flute in the new room for him. His wife Mandy speaks only English and Irish, and of course is also spoken in the Embassy. A real challenge for me! I’ve found that I now already able to write passable English but talking es very difficult for me. I just do not have the words in my brain to speak. There is only one: to practice – practice – practice.
Of course I could not resist again and next to my computer is a whole stack Ireland brochures and a small box of Petra Vieweg with a stone from Ireland from the beach of Brittas Bay near the city of Arklow, Co.Wicklow south of Dublin. The stone will show me the way to the other stones that are waiting in Ireland of me.
