„Ein Dämon werde ich, sobald ich erwache“
ist der letzte Satz des ersten Dämonengedichts von Diarmuid Johnson.
Auf meiner heute gezeigten Leinwand hat sich ein wenig Vampirismus eingeschlichen. Ich habe am Samstag das Musical „Tanz der Vampire“ mit einem spektakulärem Bühnenbild gesehen und so ist die typische Vampirhaltung in meinen Dämon eingeflossen.
Ein Vampir ist eine besondere Art des Dämons. Nach der Mythologie und dem Volksglauben ist ein Vampir eine blutsaugende Nachtgestalt, die tagsüber schläft und sich Nachts ihre Opfer sucht. Sie ernährt sich ausschließlich von Blut und ihre Opfer können sich mit Knoblauch oder einem Kreuz, am besten beides, schützen.
Gerne würde ich über die bekannten Fakten hinaus recherchieren und mich in die Mythologie der Vampire verlieren, leider warten aber 40 Dämonenzeichnungen im Atelier darauf, für die Ausstellung in der Irischen Botschaft (siehe hier) gerahmt zu werden. Und sie wollen nicht nur gerahmt werden, nein, sie wollen alle auf einer Liste mit Größe und Titel vereint und in die Botschaft gesendet werden.

Now shown on my canvas I’am seeing there is a little vampirism has slipped. I saw on Saturday, the musical „Dance of the Vampires“ with spectacular scenery and so is the typical vampire attitude flowed into my demon.
A vampire is a special kind of demon. According to the mythology and folklore, a vampire is a bloodsucking night figure who sleeps during the day and in night looking for their victims. They feed exclusively blood and their victims can protect themselves with garlic or a cross, preferably both.
I would love to find more facts abourt vampire and lose myself in the mythology of them. Unfortunately are waiting 40 demon drawings in the studio will be framed for the exhibition at the Irish Embassy (see here). And they want not only to be framed, they want to be all together on one list with size and titles.
